Wood Utilization

The Wood Utilization program is designed to stimulate the growth of the wood industry in Nevada by providing assistance to small businesses that use woody biomass that is generated from forest and range land health treatments and from wood waste generated in urban settings.  By expanding utilization capacity and encouraging new businesses to take advantage of the woody biomass present in Nevada, a sustainable industry will evolve that offers increased employment and environmental improvements to Nevada’s landscape.
